Struggle for success

Success is a term reserved for those who are willing to endure endless struggle and hard work. It does not belong in the vocabulary of those who shy away from challenges and avoid effort in their lives. Many well-known scientists, celebrated for their research and remarkable achievements, are recognized for their success, which was born from their relentless struggles. For instance, Weismann spent many years cutting a rat's tail, eventually leading to the discovery of the "Germ Plasm Theory." Similarly, scientists who uncovered the phenomenon of the water cycle dedicated their entire lives to studying it. Darwin spent much of his life on the Galapagos Islands, formulating his theories on the struggle for existence, survival of the fittest, and the origin of species.

These scientists changed how we see the world, and countless other remarkable individuals faced immense struggles to succeed. Figures like Dr. Babu Ram Bhattarai and Dr. Bhagwan Koirala continue to work hard, earning their place in the hearts of many. Once a simple lawyer, Abraham Lincoln famously said, "I will make myself perfect, and the opportunity will come to me." We can also look to celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, who faced many hardships in their early lives and continue to work tirelessly.

If you ask the students who topped the IOM, MOE, or IOE exams about the meaning of struggle, they will surely have a new understanding of success. We must continue striving throughout our lives to succeed in any field or competition. Success does not come through magic or fairy tales. It is earned by those who endure significant struggles and work relentlessly toward their goals.
